Eric Thomas
Eric Thomas is the founding Principal of Rauner College Prep. He earned a BA in English from the University of Wisconsin and through the Teach for America program began his career as an English teacher in Baltimore. Thomas earned his Masters degree in Teaching from Johns Hopkins University in 2001 and went on to found the Public Relations and Communications Academy at Northwestern High School in Baltimore. Thomas joined the Noble Network in 2005, spent a year working at the original Noble Street campus, and opened Rauner College Prep in 2006. He believes that every scholar at Rauner deserves an excellent college-preparatory education and is excited to see the results RCP’s phenomenal staff and scholars have already achieved. Within the next several years, he expects to see 100% of Rauner’s graduates go on to college and earn degrees, opening doors of opportunity for them, their families, and the RCP community.
